Deluxe Kailash Tour – 10 Days (Starts and Ends in Kathmandu via Kerung)

The Deluxe Kailash Tour is one of the shortest and most comfortable pilgrimage journeys to Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, specially designed for Hindu and Buddhist devotees. This overland journey begins and ends at the Kyirong (Kerung) border between Nepal and Tibet. It is a drive-in, drive-out tour featuring the best available luxury hotels and guesthouses throughout the route.

To ensure proper acclimatization and a successful journey to Mount Kailash, we have scheduled two nights in Kyirong at an altitude of 2,700 meters before heading towards Lake Manasarovar and Mount Kailash. Additionally, we have included two nights in Darchen, located at 4,670 meters, to help your body adapt to the higher elevation. During this time, we also visit the famous spiritual site of Tirthapuri.

Regarding accommodation, except for Dirapuk and Zuthulpuk during the three-day Kailash Kora (where only basic guesthouses are available due to the remote location), we provide 4-star standard hotels in all other overnight stops. That’s why we proudly call this journey the Deluxe Kailash Tour — combining spiritual significance with comfort and care.
