Deluxe Everest Base Camp trek-16 days
exclusive mountain Deluxe Lodges on a high-quality, all-inclusive trek
What is the Deluxe Everest Base Camp Trek and what makes it Deluxe?
Situated at an altitude of 5,364m, the base camp of Everest is the highest point on earth, and the Deluxe Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular and highly recommended luxury-style treks in Nepal. This trek is one of the shortest-duration treks to reach the base camp of Mount Everest. Flying in and out of Lukla is the shortest and most convenient way to start and end this world-famous trek.
Some of the main highlights of the Everest trek include the spectacular Himalayan ranges, Tengboche Monastery, and Kala Patthar. Hiking and trekking to the highest points in the Himalayas—especially reaching the base camps of Mount Everest and Kala Patthar—is a dream trip of a lifetime for all travelers.
This outstanding adventure trek begins after two days of historical sightseeing in Kathmandu and allows time to adjust to jet lag, especially for travelers coming from long distances such as the USA or Canada. Our Everest Base Camp Trek starts with a 35-minute scenic mountain flight to Lukla, one of the busiest small airports serving all Everest treks and climbing expeditions.
We continue towards Namche Bazaar, a Sherpa settlement at an altitude of 3,440m, where we spend two days for the first acclimatization. From Namche, the trek proceeds with a visit to the famous Tengboche Monastery, which offers the best views of the magnificent Ama Dablam mountain. We spend one night there before continuing to Pheriche for two days. At an altitude of 4,400m, we begin acclimatization and hike to the highest point of Nagarjun to keep ourselves fit and well-adjusted to the high altitude.
After two more days of trekking, we finally reach our dream destination—Everest Base Camp at 5,364m. The next morning, at sunrise, we hike to the highest point of this trek, Kala Patthar, at 5,644m. The main aim of this Deluxe Everest Base Camp Trek is to reach both Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar.
After completing the trek, we follow the same route back to Lukla and fly to Kathmandu. This entire Everest Base Camp Trek follows a well-crafted 16-day itinerary by Nepal Trekking Tourism & Adventure, offering the most comfortable deluxe hotels and lodges throughout the trek. To ensure a premium experience, we have selected the best available lodges to provide deluxe services and maximum comfort.
