The Main Highlight of Nepal cultural tour is Lumbini which is situated at the Terai plains of the southern Nepal is the place where Siddhartha Gautam, the Shakya Prince and the ultimate Buddha, the Enlightened One, was born in 623 BC. The sacred Garden, marked by a stone pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka of India in 249 BC, is listed as one of the World Heritage Sites.

Nepal Cultural TourOther highlight of Nepal cultural and religious tour is Pharping. This is traditional Newari town situated 19km south of Kathmandu which is untouched by the tourists. Pharping is famous for Hindu and Tibetan pilgrimage sites. There is also a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. The main popular pilgrimage sites at Pharping are - Tharig Gompa, Drolma Lhakhang, Rigzu Phodrang Gompa, Guru Rinpoche Cave, Vajra Yogini Temple, and Do Ngak Choling Gompa.

Another highlight of Nepal cultural and religious tour is to see Namo Buddha, where the Buddha offered his body to a starving tigress so she could feed her cub. Namobuddha (Greeting’s to Buddha) is situated at hill and so you could see views of Kathmandu and mountains. Namo Buddha is a sacred place for Buddhists and many pilgrimages come to both the stupa and the monastery nearby. Beside Lumbini, Pharping and Namo Buddha, you will visit popular Buddhist monasteries and stupas of Kathmandu to make your tour really interesting. Best of Nepal Tour- A wonderful trip of our life
“We recently completed a ten day tour in and around Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Chitwan National Park, Lumbini and Pokhara. There is no question that this was one of the best and most interesting holidays we've ever taken. As an experience, the breadth and diversity was astonishing. We began in Kathmandu and stayed in Dwarikas (truly a great experience in itself - the building is like no other, dinner is fantastic and the outdoor barbeques by the pool are second to none). It took only really a couple of days to visit the various squares and temples and gain an appreciation of the fabulous architecture and wood carving, but then we were really there to see Everest. On the third day we stayed at Club Himalaya in Nagarkot, which is a fairly decent hotel, but in a wonderful situation. ”
