Peak Climbing in Nepal is a very popular Himalayan Adventure Holiday Experience. Peak climbing in Nepal is known as climbing trip of some of 6000m trekking peaks in Nepal. Some of Nepal popular trekking peaks are island peak climbing, mera peak climbing, lobuche peak climbing, and pisang peak climbing. There are many Nepal peak climbing mountains are opened and permission from government of Nepal.

There are Many High Mountains in Nepal open to climbing for mountaineers. Nepal Government of Tourism has categorized mountains according to its High Level. Nepal offers many mountains to climb above 5500m. Every mountain needs special permit to climb. Starting from 5500m to 6654m are Categorized as trekking peaks in Nepal. Above 6654 m to 8848m Mt. Everest (World’s highest peak) is categorized as Expeditions/Mountaineering Mountains in Nepal. So below 6654m are called Trekking peak climbing in Nepal. Trekking & climbing trekking peaks together is very Popular Adventure activities in Nepal. Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) is Authorized Agency under Tourism Policy of Nepal to issue trekking peak permit. Without permit, peak climbing in Nepal is considered as illegal and Nepal peak climbing permit can only possible to arrange by joining Authorized peak climbing Agency like: Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions which is registered with all departments of Nepal government and this company have proper guide and staffs to take climber at top of any peak climbing mountains of Nepal.

Our company arranges a climbing training course at base Camp everyday before you start to peak climbing in Nepal. You also can join Rock climbing training few days in Kathmandu before you start you trekking and Nepal peak climbing.

Among many climbing peaks, only 33 trekking peaks are under Management of NMA. The Highest climbing peak- Mera peak (6654m) including 18 climbing peaks are Called Group “B” NMA climbing peaks and 15 peaks are called Group “A” NMA climbing Peaks.

Group “B” NMA climbing peaks permit is USD 350 for Group of 1-4 persons, USD 350 plus additional USD 40 per person for Group of 5-8 persons and USD 510 plus additional USD 25 per person for Group of 9-12 persons.

Similarly, Group “A” NMA climbing peaks permit is USD 500 for group of 1-7 persons and USD 100 per person additional above 8-12 persons. The Maximum climbing group size is 12 persons in one group.
